For Towelling
Towelling refers to absorbent fabric designed for drying and moisture absorption, commonly used in towels, bathrobes, and washcloths. Made from materials like cotton, bamboo, or microfiber, it features looped or woven fibers that enhance softness, durability, and absorbency.
3 Buying Considerations For Towelling
Choose breathable fabric like cotton, check thread count, pick a comfy weave, ensure the right size, easy care, durability, and matching style.

Sizing

1. GSM
GSM stands for Grams per Square Metre.
It indicates the density of the material used to make the towel.
A higher GSM means:
The towel is thicker.
It is more absorbent.
It contains more loops or longer loops.
Towels with higher GSM feel more luxurious and plush.
Retailers and laundries use GSM as a key indicator of towel quality, absorbency, and feel.
2. Material & Pile
100% Cotton
Made from 100% pure cotton, no synthetic fibres.
Highly absorbent – holds up to 25x its weight in liquid.
Feels soft, cosy, and luxurious – perfect for hospitality.
Pile
Features a raised surface made of upright yarn loops.
Made with Ring Spun Cotton for strength and softness.
Avoid open-end cotton – it’s cheaper but less durable.
